REAL ME!
Average time to read1:14 minutes aprox.Shocking as it may be; I was totally pleased yesterday when a friend told me how blessed she was with a poem I published » WHO'S CHILD ARE U?». She was so blessed that she printed it out and gave it to her sister who coincidentally just lost her child during child birth. I was touched when she said her sister was ok and was going to work. So what is shocking about it? You may ask. Well, she did not trap this story in the comment box.
All artists (be it musician, actors, painter, writer, sculpto, etc) are interested in the feedback of their audeince, admirer, reader. This is actually the booster to their creativity. They know there is someone out there observing them. But I was more glad when I knew my friend was a poet and was unwilling (after begging and begging) to publish her thought-provocating poem. Her excuse was simple; she doesn't know. This lady is a giver by choice so I was confused by her present disposition of not allowing the public unto her arts.

I actually get confused most times when things dont make sense (or logical) but I realised it is this illogical system that makes life interesting. Another shock came during the weekend while watching Christiane Amanpour, the CNN international correspondent, doing a piece on her usual programme «Eye on Africa». She posited that the statistics of those that have aids in Africa surpasses those in America. Africa, very moralistic, yet surpassed the the wild Americans on sex related disease. The amount of orphans affected by this disease was actually the main topic. For more on the story Click HERE

So life seems to be full of surprises, it is this surprises that make life interesting. Will a day come when one will not be surprised at the happenings of these world?ÂÂ
