For those of us once again who dont have desgrees in psychology there is a theory that «perception leads to assumption» meaning when you see a person or a situation you immediately assume something the same thoery says about 80% of the time what you are assuming is wrong. what im saying is for people who live in abuja , lagos etc you see people in nice flashy cars you immediately assume the person in the owners corner or the person who is driving the car is the owner? when has it occured to you that the peerson driving the car could be a model and is advetising the new model mecedes with a ABC motors logo sticker on the car or with a lufthansa sticker
also the person could be the wife or child of the owner, the person could be the driver , relative of the owener , in fact the car may be rented or be on hire purchase. The car may even have been borrowed.
Similarly when you see somebody with a gucci bag or sunshades you assume the person is rich . but what about if those gucci items are half the value of all the person owns.you cannot see the complete picture such as the persons bank account you cannot tell what school they went , you cannot even tell what tribe they are from , you dont know if the borrowed it , but you just assume and once again 80% of the time you are wrong in your assumptions. try out the theory and see if it works!

Everybody feels that they are better then somebody else for example we all feel we went to better schools than another person or better than somebody who did not even go to school.
For example people like Ojukwu feel they are the most classy and best educated nigerians since they went to school with the likes of Prince Charles of England. Similarly someone who went to UNILAG would look down on someone who went to LASU or yabatech.
In short human beings are inherently proud about their background.
We all have something to benefit from somebody else because nobody knows everything, if you want to read all the degrees in a university it woud take a lifetime and this is another human nature ie greed.
So you can get one degree and let somebody else get another. For example if you read accounting in UNILAG and another accountant in the same company read accounting at LASU he may have taken a class in auditing which you did not take, and you may have taken a class in international accounting which he did not take, and so you can learn/gain from each other in those areas!
Dipo i must agree and restate what you said that «there are some things that need to be changed that may be hindering us from achieveing our defined objective.
May i also add that what we consider the right approach may not actually be the best approach to achieve the defined objective. The best approach can be gotten from experimenting with different appraoches. Our initial approach may be close but not the best fit approach or the critial path
An example: Jesus came as the son of a carpenter and was crucified like a criminal i.e similar to kirikiri firing squad, under our human approach he should have come to us with Angels (body guards) sirens blarring, with a lot of money for the poor and medicine for the sick etc
Gods approach was to use the blood of Jesus to heal the sick, forgive our sins, prosper the poor and the spirit to give comfort/hope/faith etc
Can you imagine the son of a carpenter being followed by his desciples that came from all works of life some of them were even accountants and had a lot of education but what they gained was far more than what normal person wouod have thought htey would gain once again.
Basically if they want to abuse you at work let them do it this is the intepretation of what the bibile says if they slap you in the face turn the over cheek , because if words are all they have then they wont have as much as you at the end of the day you will be the one with the words and the physical backing of the words. recently i tried out this theory and and i ended up finding out that some people who call them selves your boss actually end up with your being thier boss because they brag about what they can help you with and at the end of the day you seem to be in a better position than them, so the theory tested is true, it works!

Well once again dipo my dear friend after a brief leave of absence im back! You are right from a certain point of view, however from another point of view i still maintain my stance. Yes i feel it is right, if within your power, for you to kill somebody whos aim was to inflict harm on a mass number of people ie a hired killer, armed robber or terrorist. Also it may be a survival tactic for a prisoner of war to succomb to such a thing as rape/homesexuality inorder to spare their life.
Also from another point of view of what you dont know wont hurt you.
However one day is one day and the day people find out about what they dont know, the person may become a like a leaper sent to a leaper colony. Imagine if you find out one night that your neighbor, brother, farther, children are armed, robbers, 419, homosexuals etc. A normal person would immediately disassociate them selves from these people in order not to be caught as in accomplice. Even though they may enjoy a high life with a lot of money.
Another example i would like to give you is that about 80% of the bank MDs and directors you see in nigeria live in nice in homes, drive in flashy cars that are gotten from loans (depositors money) ie they dont own those assets. If they are right why is it that more than half of them are usually caught at the airport trying to make a final escape once they have wired a huge sum abroad and end up in alagbon? why would i want to end up where i started, in fact even in a worse off situation because they even risk loosing thier PHD' titiles, loosing thier memebership in ICAN etc once they are sentenced. would you say fred Ajudua is right?
