i very much agree with j. utomi has not been known tohave guts to confront wrongs per se. d like of dora akunyili-nafdac dg, nuhu ribadu-efcc boss.. are known to av refused gratification and in my opinion av stood the test of time. i support dora akunyili for president come 2007

I'm finding it hard to assume you are serious about these points believe me...let me show you how it all sounds to me
1. To lead this country you needed to have been in the Military...not ever again.
2. Titles from various parts of the country? Neither does Jerry Ghana, Donald Duke, Peter Odili or Muazu...and believe me, it's one of those 5 - Since you and I are not contesting )
3. Ideology suited to the west? wow! Here is one that believes that butter is not for monkeys, is that what you think your people are? Lets get good leadership in nigeria for once, and you'll be surprised the potentials in this country.
4. How many people are in the military that their listening count to anything?
5. I know Utomi personally, have spoken with him, was with him over the weekend (twice), will see him on sunday...weak willed and soft spoken? Wow, I must be fragile and cuddly
6. He does not have a track record of anything he has done for Nigeria persay.

Hit me o...cos I think i'm just explaining what you already know See, some of us exist only for the possibility of a different Nigeria. And believe me...we have good options this time around... and none will pass your 6 points about a leader test.

Who do you think will /should lead Nigeria in 07 and why.

Personally i know utomi and he like virtually most «captains of industry» in nigeria are fronting businesses including the bank of which he is chairman today for these same generals and they use them even for fake political opposition, the current crop of governors and politicians were all former front men for various generals as their contractors/business operators in the past ie and when Oga come house he will collect key from the gateman who he gave it to!

Let me tell you Utomi is like MKO Abiola he will sell Nigeria and he may end up trying to bite the hand that made/feed him. After all its Murtala Muhammed and Buhari that gave Abiola the ITT contract that made him rich and he was fronting buinesses for them including his own champion newspapers and airlines etc

Orji Uzo Kalu and the entire famous Kalu family of Aba- Contractor for the eastern region, purvayor of fine women for Gen JT Useni

Bola Tinubu - Political God son of Lateef Jakande (a Military apologist)

If i should name some names of some people for you in the obj govt and the kind of businesses they used to front for these khaki boys you will be surprised and you will loose respect for them!

what should that mean @ your 3rd point. A leader should be global thinking.

I dont know much about Mr Utomi apart from watching his show from Nigeria and I do like and agree with his thinking very much.

If we are to expect CHANGE in Nigeria we should be OPENED to different thinking and ideas not just typical «Nigerian Ideology»

It is thinking like this that will keep us from moving forward as an effective Nation.

Pat Utomi has no place in the leadership of nigeria ie president, howerver he would make a good minister of works and housing/industries, finance etc the reason being

1 He has not served of fought for his country his country before (or even never been his brothers keeper ie ECOMOG or UNAMIL etc)
2 He has not identified with all nigerians by accepting titles from various parts of the country
3 His ideology is only suited for the western world not out nigeria
4 the military will never listen to him because the nigerian military cirlces only obey their former ogas, he would be ousted overnight like Shonekan
5 He does not have a strong will and is soft spoken
6 He does not have a track record of anything he has done for Nigeria per say

based on this fact Buba Marwa, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Mohammed Lawal and all have these qualifications and even stand a better chance than he does despite the fact that pat Utomi is older than all of them, what a waste of ageand shame to use his 50+ years of his life in selfish chasing of money while his juniors were sacrifising and nation building
