[...] I started in Part 1 by telling you how my baby girl taught me to visualize where I wanted to be and then follow it but I did not tell you the process, you had to go through in order to get there. It is very easy for you to assume in order to move from one level to another, you needed the circumstances to change but that’s not the way it works because for you to change levels in life, you have to evolve while the circumstance remains constant. This is the way it works; if you are interested in moving from single hood to being married (assuming you want a Godly married- marriage that would last and you would find fulfillment), you would not change levels by finding a man to propose to you because you can be married and yet not enjoy the fruits of being married. You would get to that stead of fulfilled marriage if you constantly evolve because you would then attract a partner who also wants a fulfilled marriage. [...]

Dipo,
Happy Anniversary in advance. May the Lord continue to uphold your home and satisfy your mouth with good things. Amen

It's incredible how everywhere I look these days I'm picking up just the things I need. I think it was 'Deolu's post on RAS that sparked it all off. This is so timely.

On my way to work this morning, I was ruminating over the same things and it's incredible that you've expressed it fully.

As you know, I bit the bullet, you wanted to know why, well, here's a brief intro, hopefully we'll catch up this weekend and you can grill me all you want.

Cheers.

Hello Dipo,
I have really enjoyed this write, how inspiring and revealing it is...God bless you brother for releasing yourself to be taught of God. The truth is attaining a high level in this life of ours requires focusing on the new level, walking by faith and wait for the opportunity to manifest in that capacity.

Just like you daughter, my son started a similar exploration....walking instead of crawling...I was surprised but I have come to learn that, when we see NO limitation in the path of achieving our goals, we would surely get there....babies dont see any limitation...I think we all have a lot to learn from these lot.

Happy Married Life in Advance brother.....Cheers

I really enjoyed your right up. it kind reminds me of the sermon of the dreamer and the doer. The dreamer does nothing but dream, and obvioulsy nothing became of it (he lived in his fantasy), the doer also did alot, and nothing really came of it, casue even though he had action he had no faith or believe in God. We need to have both but in God. To have vision and run with it with faith in God.

I have been blessed. I just need to ask God to give me a vision to work with.

@ Jane

Your question is very subtle and should approached in a careful manner.

Similar words that can be used in the place of Poor are Underpriveledged, Unfortunate, Pitiable, etc. I have come to understand that being Poor is a thing of the mind. (Please, dont kill me yet o)

I know that most times when you say someone is poor, it means the person is without financial means but the definition in itself is flawed.

When I used to work in the bank I have seen folks with large amount of money but look pitiable and underprivedged and I have seen folks with little or nothing looking very good.

Most people we regard as rich (opposite of poor) are debtors but are still viewed as very wealthy. From the car they drive to the house they live in are all leased to them using a source of security to obtain this lease but this people would always get more money when dealing with people.

This is why life is based on how one brands oneself not necessarily on the financial capacity of the person.

So you see, your question is quite subtle; so poverty is of the mind, that is why when a mind flourishes, the physical appearance of the man would also flourish.

Hope I was helpful? As per the bus thing, you cant allow someone's definition to affect your judgement. Most times when going for lunch, I take Okada because of convenience (traffic, parking slot, etc) and numerous other reasons despite the fact that I have a car.......

thank God for giving you a wonderful married life. Many had taken the marital vows like you did but have broken it so soon.I want to say that living a life of Focus is the first way to success. Many people are so talented but the problem is that we don't look inwards. We are just okay with having 1/2 Tokunbo car(s), living in a 2/3 bedroon self contain apartment , sending our children to a private school in the neighourhood. Your success lies in "the doing" and not just "the thinking".That thing in your mind that you are scared of taking just one step have been thought about by somebody but it is the first person to bring it to reality that is celebrated. Wake up that giant in you and don't die a poor man. I entered a public bus one day and somebody said we are all poor in the bus. And i said am not poor. And he said If you are not poor you will not be in this bus. Dipo please what is the definition of poor?
