I steadied myself as I felt the world shift.

I couldn’t say anything. I just looked at Moyo, wishing her to disappear, wishing thirty-two seconds in reverse order, wondering what I did to make Moyo act this way. The only thing I was sure of was why I never had a gun- just so I don’t use it for cases like this (I could see the headlines- Boy Kills Girl over Big Mouth!). Â
Why did this girl burn my cable?Â
After four minutes of loud silence, I managed to make a weak 911-
“Moyo, what on earth are you talking about?
“We both know what I’m talking about. Leave my friend alone, she’s not another of your experimentsâ€
I was about to start another round of wishing etc… Femi was looking like she wanted to laugh but was too considerate to do so. I could imagine Moyo finishing me off, the moment I stepped out of the room.
I made another try for the telephone-
9-1-1.
This time, a bit more aggressively.

“I assume you have actually seen me with other girls, and now you think I want to use your friend?â€â€œYes now, is that not your plan, umm, I know you nowâ€, she was gearing up with pride, amused at my discomfiture. I made for the kill-“Mention one girl you know, any one girl, you have even heard about that I actually dated or was withâ€It worked. Girls like Moyo were too dumb to remember anything apart from general gossip. . “hmmmmmn… come to think about it, that’s true o, its not as if I have seen you with any girl like that, but you are a Unilag boy now. And I know you have a car and I always hear your music blasting, you are always cruising round campus. And it’s not like you are ugly and I know the kind of guys you hang out with… I’m sure you’ll have a babe, abeg leave my friendâ€. She was still smiling.She didn’t sound as stupid as I had wanted her to, but it was enough.I was gratified.I moved in for the ‘finishing move’- “Oh, so you really don’t know, you just assumed. I like your friend very much. I think she knows it. I just hope she’s nothing like youâ€.I looked at Femi. She looked more curious than amused.“Femi, maybe we should hook up later or something? Bye.â€I walked out.I could hear the soundtrack…. gen gen gen gen gen gen….Â

P.S:
I hoped my exit would provide some effect- anything to make her think of me. I decided to keep my cool, give her space to miss me.
A few days later I saw Gbenga with some other guy at the common room.
Hey, and Gbenga called my name.
The other guy suddenly started to laugh. I made sure my zipper wasn’t down and was about to ignore him when he leered (he actually leered), followed by a guttural- “Na you dey toast my babeâ€.“Whoâ€, I asked
“Femi tell me say you dey toast amâ€, another grunt
“Ohâ€, I said, “no vex o, just trying my luckâ€
I checked out my ‘rival’. He seemed like an okay-guy, but I knew he wasn’t her boyfriend, merely another toaster but I sensed that if Femi actually told him about me, I must have been a little ‘important’.
It was enough for me… for a little while.

i’d av tot according to aritmethic progression,u pasted d 1st story on d 12th,second one on the 17th,3rd one on the 23rd,naturally last one should have been on the 30th and 2day na 31st already.na wa 4 una ooh!

u see, even your hand knows what want to type and went ahead and dropped it. Truely ur shakara worked and i fear small, but na small sha. i had to use a decoder to understand all ur typos.
Dont u think series 4 is due?
Yes i am into stocks, but i have a funny way of doing things. Usually i buy wateva is available so long as i have small change. this wise i see the stocks as savings….i mean i leave it growing until i think its time to sell and if the price is dropping, i still leave it there….someday he go grow. But if i want to make money from stocks, i have this bad-guy-stockbroker-friend, i usually pool some money with him, he buys and sell at his descretion and if there’s a deal the money is not enuf, we look around for more. (i assume it is me u reaaaaally like, not the other 2). thanx o jare, just bcos of the luv u’ve shown, i dey feel like…..girl, dont hesitate to drop your comments, what’s the use of a blog without reader’s response. And, this is not the end of the story, my sweety says it is 4 wk series, but if u want to read the rest of da story, the DVD is out even plus bonus scenes.

u guys are hilarious-the three of u together.just to let u know that u are not d only ones enjoy the series and i suggest u can start a series of ur own like friends because u make me laff till tears comot from my eye-i no fit shout! i looked fwd to readin the end ( i presume this is it) of the series and u can rightly say that i’m one of the passive readers but come to think of it, what is there to say-it is someone’s story so tell ur own or just listen. anyway, big ups guys and thanks for makin my night

If you must have noticed, we 2 are the only faithful commentators one evry thread, a lot of pple are just passive readers, they are reading, but never drop their comments. Things are a lil bit slow generally on dipotepede and not just on this thread,coupled with the fact that my ‘ololufe’ is not available, oh…..how i miss her so….

he be like say you be oliver twist…..this was supposed to be a four week thingy, but your longer throat has made funmilayo drop the stories earlier. Anyway sha, did you see how the stupid Moyo was dealt with? Good for her and i hope she got the message well well.
