Hi Dipo,
I never knew how much of inspiration i have lost for not reading your articles.
This piece confirms my desire to always know when to quit. I always desire to test knew things, and a lot has happened in the past 6 months.
I invested in Ice cream business with over a million naira, but fuel cost is shrinking my profit.
But like Wisdombrook,My drive is opportunity-seeking. I am presently experimenting on a multi-level marketing business which has yielded $1,000 in the last 4 weeks.
I have made more money in a business that requires less than N200,000 to start than a business that requires a million plus to establish.
A failure is a man that refuses to make attempts. Our recovery is in our descovery!
Thanks

Hello Dipo,
This is indeed an eye-opener on enterpreneurship! Your statement in the second paragraph clearly depicts what I'm going through presently but I can see the difference. I'm an enterpreneur! My drive is opportunity-seeking. Its a blessing discovering this site. I wish to maintain a personal contact. If not for anything, for mentorship and information.

@ edalob2007
i agree with you.doing business in nigeria requires courage in the face of the so called nigerian factor(erratic electricity supply, inaccessibility to loans, inefficient transport system and all).the nation is made up of its people so for a national reorientation,we need to change as individuals and that begins with having the right mindset.
@ dipo tepede....
its possible that some people have a combo of an adminstrative and entrepreneurial skills but more of one than the other anyway...both skills i believe can be learnt but it still boils down to the innate abilities possessed by people to either become an administrator or an entrepreneur.
thanks for this wonderful piece..na u oh!!

This sure sets me thinking am i an administrator or an entrepreneur? Hither to
i have combined both. As i went through this piece i felt the need to actualy specialise so i can get maximum benefits and not be like the jack of all trades amd master of none.
thanks dipo

Hi dipo,
Thanks for being an inspiration to me and my friends time and time again, only
God can reward you.
It is true that one must not put all his eggs in one basket, but lets remember that the NIGERIAN
factor is forcing alot of people to put all their eggs in on basket and keep watch over it.
I know beyound reasonable doudt that i am cut out to be an enterprenuer due to my affinity to do business transactions but things like Electricity,Effective transportation,Loans and so many other things will easily frustrate someone in this country.
I have had to pay Outragiuos bills to NEPA,buy generators(more than 6 in 3years)and contant buy diesel and petrol whose prices flunctuate based on demand. With all of this i think most of the people will be comfortable being the Taxi Driver than Swagger like the 16-door car man,
Dipo, it will take a national re-orientation to change the nation mentality about being an enterprenuer.
Happy Easter

Nice article!
Dipo do you realise that people are different and as the popular saying goes '' we all see, but not all look» to be an enterpreneur you must look at opportunities and convert them to advantge.Which must people cannot do!

Hi Dipo,
Thanks for this again. I must commend you for your enterpreneurial skill coupled with your writing writing and communication skills. I am waiting for the balance.
