Have you ever been slapped so hard that you can literarily hear the alarm bells ringing through your medulla; your eyes turned red, the side of the ears was blocked and your cheeks were contracting and literarily turning numb? Guess what our Lord Jesus Christ told us to do in this situation? I am sure you all know the answer; well, if you don’t know, he told us to turn the other cheek. Jesus Christ definitely has a sense of humor.

I remember my undergraduate days in Ife when you switch on the fluorescent light and species of insects start crawling up to the light tube. This is the kinds of friends that we have these days; as long as you are shining they crawl up to your majesty but when the lights are out and the heats are on, they immediately turn to roaches. Hardly do you have friends that stick to you during the night time of your life but this is when it is assumed that friends are needed.

As long as the earth remain, the sun would always set except in some certain countries where they have the sun all day long; this particular scenario is extremely rare. In the world that most of us live in, the sun rises and sets but we consciously reject this notion in our lives; when what we want don’t happen the way we plan it; when our dreams don’t come as quickly as we want; when we are confused about what to do with our lives; when our desires are not met; when the lady we love doesn’t love us back (the list goes on), we lose our cool and become irrational; our heart gets broken and we move to an illogical mode.
