Wao!
Stillas fresh as it was when i first read it on here way back.
Wisdom demands that we locate ourselves in the post. That is the position or stage we are in the various stages highlighted above and then take the necessary actions.

Your interpretation of scriptures esp. parables is quite out of the box and simply mind-blowing.

Cheers!

Welcome back. We can see the words of wisdom. Life is really full of ups and downs. It comes in stages. No stage is less important than the other. We should not allow people to derail our vision. The Holy Bible in 1 Samuel chapter 17 verses 26-30, gave an insight into the life of David as he was faced with discouragements and frustrations on his way to stardom. On the face of it, Eliab’s rebuke of David according to the Bible appeared to be due to brotherly concern but it was really an act of discouragement. As far as Eliab was concerned, David’s attempt to foray into military matters was an affront. By his statement , it was obvious that in his opinion David should concern himself with matters relating to the sheep in the forest and leave military and state matters to people like him who were adept at it. Had David listened to or allowed his reprimand discourage him, he would have lost his chance of defeating Goliath. Perhaps, if he had lost that chance, he may have forever remained obscure and inconsequential. But understanding it for what it was, David ignored the rebuke, went on and conquered Goliath. The above encounter probably motivated several men to stand failure in the face and proclaimed their victory. There are still Eliabs today, who for one reason or the other will not want you to get to the promised land. They do all things possible to discourage you from taking any step of faith in your life. Such men who ignored the discouragements of men and eventually became extraordinarily successful in life include the following:

1. John Creasy, the English novelist who wrote 564 books, was rejected 753 times.
2. Charles Darwin’s father told him he would amount to nothing and would be a disgrace to himself and his family.
3. Walt Disney was fired by the editor of a newspaper because, he Disney, had no good ideas. As a teenager, Walt, hoping to find work outside Chicago moved to Kansas City to begin his artistic career. After considering becoming an actor or a newspaper artist, he decided he wanted to create a career in the newspaper, drawing political caricature or comic strips. But no luck.
4. When Thomas Edison was a boy, his teacher told him he was too stupid to learn anything. Edison is considered one of the most prolific inventors in history, holding 1,093 U.S. patents in his name. He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world, including the photograph and the long-lasting, practical electric light bulb.
5. Einsten was 4 years old before he spoke. He spoke haltingly until he was 9 years of age. He was advised to drop out of High School. And his teachers told him he would never amount to much.
6. Henry Ford’s first two automobile businesses failed.

I will like to conclude with the quotes of the following great men: Samuel Goldwyn said “I think luck is the sense to recognize an opportunity and the ability to take advantage of it. Everyone has bad breaks, but everyone also has opportunities. The man who can smile at his breaks and grab his chances get on”. George Bernard Shaw also said “I don’t believe in circumstances. The people who got on in this world are the people who get up and look for the circumstances they want, and if they can’t find them, make them”.
Have a great week ahead.
