My Second Wife

3246039564_37807072d1_mI have been thinking seriously about having a second wife especially after God has blessed me with a successful marriage. I remember the words of a lady friend that dispel my cold feet towards my wedding; “A good wife is a life time asset”. Well, she was a trained accountant, so using such parlance to describe her opinion on the issue of marriage did not seem offensive to the other ladies who were gathered with us.

After some years of marriage and thinking through her statement, I seem to disagree with her choice of words: A good wife can also be a life time liability if (a big IF) not treated right. The reality is that there is no absolute label for asset or liability since a condition is introduced. If what you regard as an asset is not treated right, it deteriorates and becomes a liability. Recall; an asset increases your value while a liability depreciates it.

2009-land-rover-range-rover-sport-sc_100181315_mSo when I decided to get a second wife like the picture by your immediate top-left, I knew it could either be an asset or a liability despite the fact that it makes my heart dey Yori Yori. An average Nigerian executive is instinctively passionate about his second wife or second husband as the case may be. They wash it almost every day; take it for steaming once a month; service it every 6 weeks; do its alignment after replacing its shock absorber; visit the mechanic/panel beater/rewire for one issue or the other; etc.

Unfortunately, most Nigerians do not bother about the interior of their second wife since this is where the greatest liability can stem up. I am sure it’s not a secret that most Nigerians marry the divorced second wives of the Americans and the Europeans. The issue here is neither the purchase nor the almost brand new exterior of the car but the inability to understand the potential danger posed by the interior of the car.

The interior of the car especially the chairs and the rugs/carpets if not cleaned properly accumulates dust, fleas, ticks, etc which are quite invincible to the human eyes. These agents cause some diseases whose symptoms may not appear till old age. Most Nigerians take care of this by simply dusting, brushing, washing the interior or for those who can afford it, they pressure wash the foot mats. All these activities are NOT effective in removing these agents.

AV1205-BDThe most effective way of cleaning the interior of a car is to vacuum clean it hence the need for a car vacuum cleaner like the one in the picture by your immediate top-left. The vacuum cleaner makes use of suction technology which reduces the pressure inside the vacuum cleaner forcing outside pressure to compensate the vacuum created inside the pressure. This forces the entire microscopic agents (dust, tick, fleas, etc) inside the vacuum cleaner.

The last statement I made is based on the “power” of the vacuum cleaner used but it has been scientifically proven that vacuum cleaners remove 95-100% of microscopic agents. The great news is that I just received a shipment of high-powered portable car vacuum cleaner in my warehouse last week and like most of you know, my merchandize finishes quickly. I am offering you this light weight vacuum cleaner at an affordable price (you would definitely smile when you hear the price). Click HERE to book for it. See picture below:

THIS IS STRICTLY FOR INTRAPRENRURS

Intrapreneur is a word coined from entrepreneur; it simply means those that are gainfully employed yet find ways to seek business opportunity. This is aligned with POeT Solver’s mission of empowering Nigerians financially. Take a look at your office car park and estimate the amount of cars available there. The car vacuum cleaner is “win” product for you and a great product to simulate your business instinct and ideas. These are other perks you stand to gain:

  1. You will be given up to 50% off the marked price hence you have enough to distribute profits amongst your fellow intrapreneurs.
  2. You would be given exclusivity for your office environment e.g. if you work with Zenith Bank, Ajose Adeogun branch, every Zenith Bank branch on the Island (including Ikoyi) is under your purview. We would refer anybody from that area to you.
  3. If you want anonymity, we would provide that for you and communicate with your front man. An NDA would be signed to keep you comfortable.
  4. The least amount we sell to intrapreneurs is 10 pieces but you can book for a sample @ the marked price which would be delivered to your door step @ the corresponding fee.
  5. The highest selling intrapreneur @ the end of product sales would be going home with a prize of our exclusive designed keke POeT valued @ 300K Naira, You can sell it or send it someone in your village that needs it or you can put it up for hired purchase. Personally, I make 66.7 percent returns per annum on keke POeT hired purchase. It’s great to see another human smile because of you.
