What is a Dream Job?

Hardly do I come across an average career Nigerian, voice the phrase; “I love my job!” There is always a dream job somewhere, someplace. The funny part is that not every one can articulate their dream job hence making it an illusion. However, I have come to the conclusion that a dream job definition depends on the beholder. It took me time to form my perspective of a dream job, which must have the following elements below:

  1. Money that makes me comfortable
  2. The Thrill of the job itself
  3. A Sense of Accomplishment
  4. Camaraderie with co-workers and customers
  5. Meaningful achievement

After listing the above, I realized that to achieve my dream job, it would also take a job to keep it. The first law of motion from Isaac Newton comes to mind:

When viewed in an inertial reference frame, an object either remains at rest or continues to move at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force

The dream job is also another rat race dream….WAKE UP!
