Business Modeling, Prototyping and Simulation

If you are not growing, you are definitely dying

The word “velleity” is a common constraint to progress but it is hardly used in everyday conversation. It is the intent to change but no effort made to implement.

I am grateful to God for our team’s numerous professional training career achievements. Notable among them, is the 100% pass rate of our trainees that follow our prescription to writing any Project Management certification examination since 2013.  However, we have decided to evolve from certification to application. Taking the principles of LEAN Kaizen (i.e. a continuous improvement paradigm) in designing short courses that will advance professional and entrepreneurial career asset that guarantees immediate evidence in work productivity and profitability boost.

We are staring this year with a FREE workshop in Developing Effective Business Case – a prerequisite to initiating successful business, project or product development. However, one needs to exact “buy-in” from stakeholders, management, potential co-founders and investors with Business Modeling, Prototyping and Simulation.

The Business Model will strengthen your understanding of your idea, and helps get your idea clearly and concisely to others while prototype allows you to not just imagine a product, but make it real. Prototyping help you to flesh out design ideas, test assumptions, and gather real-time feedback from users. Business Simulation will provide informed decision in uncertain environment like demand fluctuations or price movements. Hence delegates with Business Simulation knowledge, will be able to intelligently predict the future with a statistical distribution (instead of unreliable point forecast).

At the end of this course, you will be able to draft GREAT Business Models very quickly and build prototypes without codes in less than 60 minutes! You will also learn

  • Differences between a Business Model and a Business Plan.
  • The various essential components in detail.
  • How to make your own Model?
  • 33 examples of Revenue/ Business Models
  • Understand the benefits and correct usage of prototypes
  • Outline the scope and specifications of your potential product
  • Develop User Experience Paper Prototype Design for early validation
  • Create wire frames with Balsamiq Mockup

After building your own model and prototype, you will be able to quantitatively clear all assumptions and risks by simulating “what if” scenarios and providing exact probabilities of success. You will be able to:

  • Predict price trends especially from suppliers/vendors
  • Know how many customer orders you will receive for your product/service
  • Estimate the chance your project will finish on time and within budget

*To get proficient in this knowledge, you need tools to model and then predict the future.
