A quick one for those who are not aware – m2m is a soft phone service that operates under VOIP platform. The tariff regime is cost friendly and can be used anywhere in the world where there is internet connectivity.
To see an analysis of the table above, you may click HERE.

Now, let's get to the juice of the matter – how can engaging in m2m service increase my income? We (the m2m team) have looked at two ways to do this without complexities;

Sole Distributor

Freelance Distributor

Let's look at how easy and simple it is to make money with sole distributorship; the features include:-

All partners get a free reseller website for tracking their clients calls, configuring client profile, etc

All partners get 60% of the accrued profit of their client which will be predefined.

All partners have territorial sole distributorship right

All partners pay a one-time bulk payment of fifty thousand Naira (N50, 000)

All partners get 100% of the recommended monthly rental

All partners will enjoy a monthly meeting in exclusive restaurants with their country manager

Mentoring and Training Opportunities are available to all partners.

Those who are eligible include but are not limited to:

Cybercafé Owners

Business Center Owners

Call Center Owners

IT firms

Training Companies

Entrepreneurs who can demonstrate potential strong client base

Let's use a Cybercafé owner (Tunde) as a case study:

Tunde contacts m2m team to show him specifically how he can increase his monthly income with m2m solution:

M2m Team: How many computers do you have in your cybercafé?

Tunde: We have a total of 15 working computers with one server

M2m Team: You can install the m2m Soft Client Phone on your entire PC

Tunde: How do I get the m2m Soft Client Phone?

M2m Team: The m2m Soft Phone is Free and can be downloaded from the m2m web site (www.mobile2mobile.biz/downloads). You can also download the PDF copy of the m2m Soft Phone Manual for free at the same spot. The Manual will teach you all you need to know concerning the m2m Soft Phone.

Tunde: So how do I get connected to the network?

M2M Team: You simply credit our company account [Access Bank 0840010000164 Poet Solvers Ltd] with a minimum of 50 Thousand Naira and send the teller number to [me at dipotepede dot org]. You will receive a customized site, a username and password. The username and password will be used to login to the m2m Soft Phone and customized site. You will get a 10 Thousand Naira credit to make your calls with the m2m Soft Phone. Any amount paid above N50, 000 will be added to the 10, 000 Naira credit which was initially giving to you.

Tunde: Now, I am set up and ready to go; how do I make money?

M2m team: From your customized site, you can see all the A-Z Destination rates you will be billed, since you have a reseller right; you can mark-up all your calls by whatever percentage you choose. For example we charge you N3.00 to Canada; you can decide to mark it up by 66.67% making it N5.00 to your customers. So you make N2.00 for every minute your client calls through you. Charging your client N5.00 per minute will increase traffic to your cybercafé which will increase the turnover. Check the analysis below for 1 month traffic for just Canada Destination:

<col width="105"></col>
<col width="141"></col>
<col width="120"></col>

Time (Min)

Profit per min

Gross Profit

10, 000

N2.00

N20, 000

10, 000

N0.60

N 6, 000

TOTAL

N26, 000

The 60Kobo per minute (60% of our profit) is a privilege you get for being a Sole Distributor so you make N26, 000 on just one destination (Canada) – just imagine other destinations. Imagine you have 10 loyal customers who sign up with you for personalized service and you are offering them with the same rate we offer you and you bill them N500 rental charge per month; you are making an additional N5, 000 per month.

Now, take a break! This will not happen immediately; this should be like 3 months into the business with huge advertising campaign letting almost everyone in your neighborhood know you make international calls at N5.00.

Conservatively, if you have 5 of the high traffic destination in table 1 above, making 10, 000 minutes per month and knowing that the least amount profit you can make is with Canada (assume using the 66.67% increase factor), you will make more than;

N26, 000 * 5 = N130, 000 + N5, 000 (rental fee) = N135, 000 per month.

With over 450 Destinations and we chose only 5 to be a consistent high traffic, you are sure of making conservatively more than N150, 000 per month with an initial investment of N40, 000.

This is for Sole Distributors, I will deal with Freelance Distributor soon, if you want to know the benefit of Freelance, you can click HERE to see and do your calculations yourself before I bring mine to you. To join the m2m Distributorship team, kindly click HERE to contact us and get our contractual agreement form.

Have a lovely day!

A lady needs to be touched constantly – the word «constantly» should not be taken lightly because my dear brothers (no pun intended), they soon forget. This is why in order to leave your mark in their hearts; you need a radical move – a move that will make their hearts leap for joy whenever their minds travel memory lane. Break the constant routine and aim for a cloud 9 experience. I will recommend every lady's pleasure treasure – a good old fashion massage.

A massage touches a lady in the right spot but deeper than the apparent pleasure that is associated with massage is the therapeutic relevance that is hardly mentioned. Every time I travel to a far distance (8- 20 hrs) like the Middle East or South Asia, a 60-minute massage session totally eradicates the jetlag and gives my mind the needed focus for the trip. Harmed with this info, I sought a deeper knowledge about its relevance and ladies (especially wives) affinity to massage.

According to Larry Costa's book; «Massage: mind and body», «massage used to be considered as an unnecessary luxury; today, it is valued by many not only as one of the most effective means of combating stress and inducing relaxation, but also for its many other physical and mental benefits, including expelling toxins, relieving muscle soreness, increasing flexibility, easing chronic pain, reducing tension headaches, boosting the immune system, promoting restful sleep, and improving concentration».

Wow! Does massaging really do all this? Yes and much more: I remember a Facebook friend asking me if massaging can cure arthritis; I told her massage is more of a preventive measure than a curative one. Constant use of massage prevents stress which according to a literature is the root cause of 99% of most diseases. A full body massage is a bit on the high side in Nigeria so how do you get rid of Stress – the constant factor in everyday living that causes muscular tension, which in turn results in tightness in the muscles, reducing the flow of energy through the body.

An effective alternative is the Atom Massager with special design, has a 3 massage feet to provide the vibration massage function. It has 3 LED lights which emits different shades of color while working. It is suitable for all parts of the body, relaxes the muscles and makes you feel very comfy. This ergonomic «atom» shaped design fits perfectly in the palm. The beauty of this massager is that it is very portable, light weight and it could be used in the office, home, gym and anywhere.

Giving your lady this sleek and stylish massager may be one of the best and thoughtful gifts you could give your lady. It has a 12 month warrantee and could easily fit into her purse – with time, this massager would be her best gadget to relieve her off stress as she works, drives or sleeps. It definitely rates higher than diamond and pearls because of its touch factor and it costs just Five Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N5, 500) with free delivery anywhere in Lagos. Don't forget your parents and grand parent, this will be the perfect gift for them and they will bless you from the depth of their heart as they relieve themselves with the massager. Click HERE to make your order. For Abuja residence, you may call Tope on 08053906600.

INTRAPRENUR COMPETITION

Intrapreneur is a word coined from entrepreneur; it simply means those that are gainfully employed yet find ways to seek business opportunity. This is aligned with ours mission of empowering Nigerians financially. Take a look at your lady colleague in your office and the men who will love to please their ladies. The atom massager is a «win» product for you and a great product to simulate your business instinct and ideas. These are other perks you stand to gain:

You will be given up to 30% off the marked price hence you have enough to distribute profits amongst your fellow intrapreneurs.

You would be given exclusivity for your office environment e.g. if you work with Zenith Bank, Ajose Adeogun branch, every Zenith Bank branch on the Island (including Ikoyi) is under your purview. We would refer anybody from that area to you.

If you want anonymity, we would provide that for you and communicate with your front man. An NDA would be signed to keep you comfortable.

The least amount we sell to intrapreneurs is 10 pieces but you can book for a sample @ the marked price which would be delivered to your door step @ the corresponding fee.

Any intrapreneur who is able to sell 50 pieces of Atom Massager would be given our Mini Washing Machine FREE.

Any intrapreneur who is able to sell 100 pieces of Atom Massager would join our PMP training FREE

The highest selling intrapreneur @ the end of product sales would be going home with a prize of our exclusive designed keke POeT Truck valued at 400k

Hence, an increase in broadband subscription ultimately leads to a new culture in communication. New careers would definitely be on the rise and those who can optimize the internet would be in great demand – not just those who understand SEO, Social Networking, eBusiness, PPC and the likes but those who can greatly reduce the heavy cost of running a company.

Apart from oil, another dominant demand in Nigeria (if not in the world), is voice communication – companies need to call their head office from their branches, the boyfriend needs to call his Youth Corper girlfriend, the married lady needs advice from her mother in the suburb, etc. The emotions that is captured in voice (or video) can never be achieved in data – this is why no matter how logical it is to use the email or chat, there is a huge tendency to defy logic and hear the voice of the recipient. This is why an increase in broadband equally means an increase in voice specialist.

Not just traditional voice specialist but those who can route calls through Internet Protocols – those who can build IP based VPNs and make use of the toll free promises. This is not what Closed User Group (CUG) promises as their international calls still goes as high as 65Kobo per sec (N39 per minute) compared to VOIP calls that goes as low as 5Kobo per sec (N3 per minute). The difference is just too huge and the concept of International Roaming will no longer exist because VOIP tariff is global and universal. If you call UK at 5Kobo per sec in Nigeria, you will call the same UK in UK at 5kobo per sec.

Since then I have always been phobic about road travels until I discovered the truth behind this anomaly; it is not really about the car but the accumulated mold, fungus, and dust mites that have stayed in the car over time. This causes infection1 in turn producing the symptoms that I experience.

Not everyone is symptomatic; some store up this illness until it catches up with them in forms that are not desirable. It still baffles me on how the bible records a man living for 969 years but on closer look, I realize how much the environment we live in today affects our life span. Apart from those who are genetically diseased, the environment plays a big role on how long we live. These days, we have cars to make life easy for us; the same cars are polluting the environment and subsequently shortening our life.

I do not need statistics to tell me that those that live around nature live longer lives than those that live in the city but the truth is I need to live in the city; I am quite young; I need to enjoy the rush (hustle and bustle) and the economical promises that the city offers. I cannot imagine staying at the country side because of good health promises. Despite my hatred for incessant traffic jam, I cannot leave the city and miss out on all the information. It's funny how we crave for things that are likely to ruin us – junk food, sugar, the city, cars, etc

Is there a way we can eat our cake and still have it? Yes, by consciously making smart choices; for example, while driving a car, the engine emits certain chemicals and exhaust fumes regularly. This surely weakens your lungs2 each time when you turn on the engine. Also, cars leave poor quality of air to breathe in. You draw in the road dust and harmful toxins while driving to your workplace or store and back home. What solutions do we proffer? We either turn on the AC or buy Air Fresheners but these solutions are band-aids and cannot provide effective solutions:

The AC reduces the temperature slowing down the activities of these allergens and pathogens but it does not eradicate it. Immediately, you switch, they start growing once more. Also, it does not remove the smell. An air freshener, in as much as it smells good, does not remove the smell, it only masks the smell, and by doing this, traps those dust particles. Air fresheners are economical but it does not guarantee you filtered air while driving. What may seem cheapest for you in the beginning is likely to take you for a ride and endanger your health.

This is why I am introducing Nigerians to Car Air Purifiers: A Car Air Purifier facilitates better breathing. Similar to an air freshener, car air purifier relieves you of unwanted smell, which your car produces due to fumes. It filters air, which circulates around your car. It removes those air particles inside the car that prove harmful to the respiratory system. How does it do this? The Air Purifier and Ionizer bombard your vehicle's interior with negatively-charged ions. These negative ions attract pollutants such as pollen, dust, cigarette smoke and even vaporized substances such as exhaust fumes. This effect makes the negative ions grow in size and fall to the ground; taking the pollutants out of your way, removing odors and leaving your vehicle interior smelling fresh and clean.

Simple and short; it brings nature to the city and commonly referred to as «Vitamins in Air»......

Product Features (Summary):

I still get confused over the concept of passion in relations to money. If I consider Maslow's Law, my conscience will not permit me to advise a fresh graduate in Nigeria without a job to follow his passion; his passion at this time is different from what we generally regard to as passion. I guess I love teaching as you can see in the picture above; the two previous Saturdays were dedicated to teaching RCCG youths – the more I think about my decision to take up the offer from After School Graduate Executives to teach on the two previous Saturdays rather than complete projects that may give me far better pay – the more I realized that I have to evaluate my earlier teachings on Passion vs. Money.

I am passionate about teaching (why else will I have a blog? Why else will I travel the whole state of Nigeria to teach Christian Corpers? Why else will I dedicate five years to write JOBFinder? And the list goes on). My keen interest in teaching is not something that was conscious to me until I had to make the decision to teach over money. Rewind to 10 years back; will I have been able to make this decision? I guess not. This is why passion itself is not absolute; when a youth says I am passionate about singing and ends up working in a bank. Though this may not be his first choice but he unconsciously knows that he needs to satisfy a passion (the passion of making money to be independent, to marry, to clothe, and to acquire shelter).

Common sense, right? Wrong! This goes against the Personal Development advice of some experts1 who say «follow your passion and your money will follow». According to the bible, Jesus fed 5, 000 individuals with 5 loaves and 2 fishes. There are so many lessons and reasons that can be drawn from this story but the one written in plain black and white is that 5,000 individuals were hungry and needed to be fed. The immediate concern was not for them to hear the good news but for them to be fed. At this hunger point, their passion is defined. No matter how much they love Jesus, if they were not fed, they were not going to listen to him. The same analysis can be drawn for job seekers; feed them and it will be easier to maximize their talent.

This is the vacuum JOBMag hopes to fill in the economic space in Nigeria – feeding fresh graduates and experienced hands with job opportunities and empowering them with the requisite skills to ace any recruitment process of any Nigerian company. They are situated at the heart of Yaba at 254 Herbert Macaulay Way, very close to Sterling and Zenith Bank. It is an ideal place for all job seekers to come to; the atmosphere is superb for learning. When I entered into the place, it reminded me immediately of British Council. JOBMag will be launching its headquarters this Saturday, 17th July, 2010. There are so many things lined up for fresh graduates and job seekers alike; if you are interested, it is important you get there very early for registration or you may lose a seat.

This is the JOBMag brand image that may be in the consciousness on Nigerians for time to come. Highlight for the launch event include job opportunities, free registration, free training, free internet access and lots more. There will be seasoned speakers including myself to grace the occasion. Also included in the launch is a 25% discount on all JOBFinder's Manual purchased at the launch. I encourage those who see themselves leaving their present job to a better place to attend this launch and get FREE registration to their database. Please, come with your CVs; it's FREE CV check and there are bound to be recruiters. You may book for a seat by clicking HERE. This is an awesome event that must not be missed by those seriously looking for plush jobs. Have a lovely day!

The easiest way to detect that your love is waxing cold towards your partner is tolerance; tolerance is simply going against your inner desire. It is actually worse than «hate» because in the case of «hate»; you have resolved your feelings towards your partner. It's either you are hot or cold; white or black or love or hate because not taking a true position on how you feel towards the person you vowed to spend your life with will definitely affect you ability to move forward in every aspect of your life.

Tolerance is resistance to love; we are built in such a way that we create a thick line between love and hate especially towards those that we are emotionally involved with. In the movie; «Why did I get Married?» by Tyler Perry; Tyler explored the possibility of resolving Marriage ruts and conflicts by changing locations without the influence of kids, friends, relatives, etc. This particular solution to Marriage rut was also explored in the movie; «Couples Retreat». You can watch any of these movies @ Mobile Moviz.

Though, this solution sounds like a good idea; just you and your spouse without external influences and having fun together in a different location; but I have never personally experienced it so I cannot be sure it would work. Despite my inexperience, I guess if I was in this situation, I will be open to it. Instead of tolerance, why not iron the issues out in an isolated location and who knows; may be? This is why I was impressed with VEDUTA NOVA's attempt to organize a couples retreat in Dubai:

Be part of a journey that'll engage your mind in a paradigm shift and take your relationship to another level which will take place from August 2nd - 5th, 2010.

Welcome to Dubai, city of merchants, cultural crossroads, second largest of the seven United Arab Emirates: A country where the dust of the desert is clearing to reveal the potential for one of the most significant international cities of the 21st century.

Wedged between Europe and Asia, buttressed by Africa, Dubai's encouraging tax regimes, state-of-the-art telecommunications and sympathetic business environment have produced a country that is building energetically on the advantages which location, centuries-old trading savvy and oil wealth have given it.

Dubai is not just a city of excitement. It's also a city of surprises. . .

Reading further into the same literature1, I realize that at night our pupils dilate, and we become short-sighted, though glare, halos, and reduced peripheral vision all contribute to ocular tiredness.

Another annoying part about driving at night, especially on a double lane that permits driving in opposite directions, is the bright light from head lamps that seems to blind the driver coming from the opposite direction. This particular incident has caused so many unforeseen disasters; last December, a neighbor friend experienced a ghastly accident because a very bright light from a bus affected his judgment and swerved hitting a big pothole, immediately summersaulting the car. His Christmas holiday was spent in the hospital with bandages, stitches and POP.

I have always been looking for a solution to this maze until my recent trip to China when I discovered this Anti-Reflective Night Vision Glasses. Unlike sunglasses or self-darkening lenses, which block some light, AR-coated glasses actually transmit more light - about 8 percent more. This improves vision at night and helps distinguish fine details during the day. This set of ophthalmic Night Vision glasses specifically designed to correct dark-induced myopia, reduce glare, contrast the dark blue surroundings without changing color perception and ultimately offer safer driving after dark.

The special ophthalmic lenses are shatter-resistant, provide complete UV-A and UV-B protection, and offer an anti-reflective treatment, which reduces glare and offers more accurate sight from dusk to dawn. Another beautiful thing about these glasses is that they are Triacetyl Cellulose (TAC) Polarized. TAC Polarized lenses will protect you from UV rays, glare and intense light. In combination with a reflection-free coating, polarized lenses are ideal for driving. Controlling any vehicle on the road is a sight response game where mistakes can cost you your life.

I can not believe the driving experience in the night since I started using this pair of glasses. Simple and short, it is magnificent. If you are interested in owning one of these quality glasses, it costs Six Thousand Naira (N6000) only and comes with a 12 months warrantee. Unfortunately, we do not have plenty of it. I hope you guys have not missed me much because I have been totally engaged with one thing or the other since I got to China and I have not had the energy to update my blog. China has also banned facebook, youtube and the likes so I will posting my personal pics. Whenever, I get the chance during these business trips, to choose one day to visit a place of interest, I always vie for a historical religious center; 2 years ago when I went for a 5-day business trip to Rome and was giving a day to visit either the Coliseum or the Vatican City. I opted for the Vatican City without much thought.

Why Religious center(s)? When there is the famous Disney World which I humbly submit not to have ever visited. Well, whether people agree with it or not, they are motivated and driven by a spiritual space and I am always appalled upon how people organize themselves to revere spiritual entity or entities as the case may be; Catholic, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Evangelicals and the list goes on. With different perspective on how to organize reverence for the spiritual space that inspires them, the world happens to be in more of chaos than peace.

Difference in perception is actually a God's initiative; according to the bible in the book of Genesis 11, people had the same perception on everything and they agreed to build towers to reach heaven. This is similar to organizing reverence to spiritual space; their motivations were however questionable; «Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth». God saw that with same perception and imagination, man can do and undo.

If man can do and undo, God will therefore not be in the equation of any man's decision and though they started by building one religious body, their motivations was actually to build names for themselves not necessarily to reverence God. Hence, God gave them various perceptions and scattered them abroad upon the face of the earth. Despite this separation, people have not stopped building towers to heaven but now on a different perception and they still want to make names for themselves worshiping their own creation and substituting it for God.

The Shaolin temple has more than a hundred statuette and statues representing various gods in one temple. It is filled with male and female monks and as the anecdote goes, Shaolin monk Sengchou (480-560) gained supernatural strength and fighting ability by praying to Vajrapani (one of the gods) and being force-fed raw meat. Thus, this Buddhist monastery is strongly associated with martial arts. The first Shaolin temple was built by an Indian dhyana master who came to China from India in AD 464 to spread Buddhist teachings.

The main act of worship is lighting incense or joss sticks. These are generally provided to worshipers by the temple in exchange for a small donation (there is offering time everywhere). Worshipers generally take three or nine incense sticks and light them from an oil lamp placed beside the burner. They hold the incense sticks in both hands while bowing the head and present them as an offering to the god(s) in the temple. Candles are also lit to the various gods. These candles are red and are made with a stick down the middle, and the stick is placed in special holders beside the incense burner, which consist of metal trays with holes in them.

My conclusion goes thus; the Shaolin Temple is another perception of man's reach to heaven. The temple I visited in Chongqing is very big with about 50 different big temples in one single land mass. It is far bigger than the Vatican City in size and has some recreational spot to chill out. This is one of the central religions of the Chinese and I am still intrigued that great qualities like strong work ethic; innovative spirit; conservative nature of the Chinese is inspired by the teachings from these temples. Have a lovely weekend!

Gifts are a symbol of appreciation and in many ways show love towards the recipient; no matter how small the gift may be, it sparks an emotional euphoria in the atmosphere especially when received from someone you care about. In reality, the kind of gift you give says a lot about the way you feel towards the recipient; whether you listen carefully to their desires or you are insightful toward their needs. The story of Cain and Abel may be instructive enough towards giving gifts:

According to the bible, the first sibling rivalry took place between Cain and Abel. Cain, a farmer, brought God a gift from his farm produce while Abel, a shepherd, brought God the fatty cuts of meat from his best lambs. God accepted Abel's offering but not Cain. Cain was not happy about the whole scenario so God told him something that we need to know when giving gifts to someone we claim to love; «if you do well, you would be accepted.»

What does it really mean to do well? One can argue that Cain did well by giving a gift while some would view God as encouraging competition. Another person may believe it is the fact that Abel gave meat from the best lamb that made God to accept his gift. I have a different angle to all this school of thoughts; Abel did it for love while Cain did it out of duty; duty and love are two diametrically opposite thing because it is very easy to confuse the two.

The easiest arena to confuse love with duty is in marriage. Admitted! You were in love when you wedded her but after years of compromise, character revelation, incessant quarrelling, etc. you choose to stick to the marriage out of duty. You give her valentine gift because your colleagues are giving their wives; you accompany her to functions because of what people would say; you provide for the home and make conversation for the children sake, etc.

It's not that you could admit to yourself that you really don't love her any more but you are lukewarm towards her case; the love that could make you do anything for her is missing. You are just going though life accepting what life has to offer you. The passion isn't there to care enough to relieve her pains or to care for what she really cares about. This is what I presumed happened when Cain was giving his gift; he did it out of a moral sense of duty while Abel was head over heels in love with God.

Mini Washing Machine; the perfect gift

Diamonds they say are ladies best friend but not a wife's best; a wife naturally multi-task by providing for the children, cooking for the family, washing their clothes, going to the market, making sure the home is clean and sometimes going to work to help provide for the family. This is why providing a gift that would release some of the stress she goes through would go a long way to show your true love.

The Mini Washing Machine is a Japanese product with 12 months warrantee. It is more economical both in acquisition and maintenance when compared with the traditional washing machine; the price is quite cheap and it can use any detergent and soap compared to the customized detergent (like Persil) of the traditional washing machine. The beauty of the Mini Washing Machine is that it saves energy; Power consumption is just 140w (i.e 2 light bulbs). Weight is 5.5kg, very light and has a sleek design with Timer; you can wash and do other things. It can wash jeans, bed sheets, shirts, etc. It's perfect for Home use.

Another very important advantage of this washing machine over the traditional washing machine is that it does not need any plumbing work. It is portable and can be moved from one place to another without stress. Imagine traveling to the village; you could easily carry it along with you. You could take it with you when traveling on business trip because it weighs just 5.5kg.

Buy this perfect gift for your wife and every time she uses it, she would reminisce about the love (not duty) you have for her. We are giving you @ a discounted price of Eighteen Thousand Five Hundred Naira only (N18, 500). We have limited stock available; please, kindly click HERE to make your order.

Someone once asked me what I enjoyed doing and the first thought that came to me was passing across exciting information that would empower those who need it. I do this through various creative mediums like writing, teaching and I hope to produce films some days. I am so passionate about this that I could go to the ends of the earth to either acquire or deliver these kinds of information (not literarily (lol)).

Ok, this year,s Canton Fair promises to be exciting with unbelievable new products and I am favored that my VISA came through because relevant and remarkable products equal big returns in investment. Anyway, I recently came across a remarkable product worth investing in; it is a Reusable Dry Ice Gel Pack branded Ice 4 Days: or you could simply called it Rechargeable Ice Block. It boosts the performance of your freezer turning it into a mini cold room. This literarily means that it can preserve your perishable goods longer than normal.

This rechargeable Ice block works NEPA or No NEPA. How, you may want to know? when in the deep freezer, it will be recharging when there is NEPA and when there is no NEPA, it will continue to work by keeping everything inside the freezer frozen for many days because of the polymer refrigerant inside. Imagine 6 sheets of Ice 4 Days in 48 liters cooler and EVERYTHING in that cooler stays cold for 2 days.... 2 DAYS! WOW!

There are so many typical applications I could share but let's consider the most obvious ones; Shade cooks soup on Sunday and stores in the fridge hoping to eat through-out the week but due to inconsistent energy supply, she warms it continuously decreasing the soup quality. Yinka buys some frozen stuffs from the supermarket but due to inconsistent power supply, it gets damaged. Placing the rechargeable ice in your fridge, saves energy and power consumption assuring you of cold and fresh substances when you get back from work.

It also has a dual usage; apart from preserving your perishable goods by making it colder than usual, it can also be placed in cooler or microwave to make your food hotter than usual. When Rechargeable Ice Block is placed in warm food, it preserves the heat three times longer than an average cooler. I am sure your minds should start going to parties, camping, keeping baby feeding bottle warm as the case may be, etc. Apart from all these, the perks that totally bought me over includes:

It has a 3-years reusable warranty

It is made in Australia under the brand name «Techni Ice»

It is made of heavy duty polymer plastic to resist puncture

Comes Dry and Easy to Hydrate in Water

Multiple Usage: cold or hot

Microwavable and Washable

Can be cut into cube size

Non Toxic: Food grade plastic.

So what am I looking for? I am looking to form a team of serious minded intrapreneurs who have a minimum of Fifty Thousand Naira (N50, 000) to invest. We would be meeting this Saturday on the 10th of April, 2010 @ the Imperial Chinese Restaurant, Victoria Island.

“You’ve got to be careful if you don’t know where you’re going because you might not get there.”

※Yogi Berra

I got a call two weeks ago to present a business plan to a cooperative interested in setting up a grocery shop. I immediately buried myself into research and came out with a conservative plan to create a successful modernize 250 square meter retail outfit in a conservative location. It was not even the share work of developing this plan that shocked me but the vibe I picked up during the actual presentation ‫ its one thing to create a plan and it’s another thing to interpret it.

If you really did not get my earlier statement, let me make it simpler ‫ you could read my article easily but you could find it difficult to create your own. In the context of a business plan, the situation is quite different ‫ most people do not know how to interpret a business plan not to talk of creating one. Well, let’s put this in perspective; if an architect gives you the plan of a house, you may find it a bit difficult to understand it except the architect puts you through.

I realize that understanding the financial end of the business plan is where I drew a block with my audience and ironically, the financial side of the plan is the earth of the plan. There was really nothing I could do about this situation; this situation was similar to teaching Yoruba Proverbs to an Igbo man, who just came to Lagos for the first time. The Igbo man has to understand the Yoruba Language first before comprehending the proverbs.

I started thinking about it in a deeper sense; almost every grown adult is into one business or the other. If you do not own the business, you are working for a business. How many people have a plan? I am not talking about a business plan; I mean a personal plan of how you want your life to be say in 5 years. I am not talking about concocting a plan in your head; I mean documenting what you truly want and deriving various paths to getting there.

The beauty about documenting rather than just having head knowledge is that it clarifies and strengthens your belief towards the plan. It forces you to assess every move you make with respect to the plan you document. I am not implying that a documented plan will come out as written ‫ the eventual outcome could be far better than what was documented or close to it. Personally, when I document a life plan, the outcome always exceeds my expectation.

There is a huge difference in a planned project and the unplanned project ‫ The book of Ezra in chapter 3, pointed succinctly the difference between the temple built by Solomon and the one built by Cyrus. Verse 12 pointed to the fact that the old men who remembered Solomon’s beautiful temple wept aloud while others who did not see the Solomon’s temple were happy. The temple of Solomon was as result of careful planning (check 1st King 6 and 7 cross reference with 2nd Chronicles 3 and 4).

This is why it is important to build businesses that would cause people to weep when the business is no more. Any business that must stand the test of time requires accurate planning hence understanding, interpreting and developing a business plan is a must for any serious business owner. While under paid employment, I felt I did not need a business plan to succeed in business and I paid dearly for it when I became self-employed thrown in the street jungle, the wisdom of not just developing a plan but a detailed plan is imminent.

There is really no shame if you have been in business and cannot develop a standard business plan. My late father was a stock aficionado so he receives tons and tons of company annual reports and I picked up some registers along this line but I actually learnt while in paid employment because for most proposals that were brought forward by my team, we were asked to develop a business case. This was a great exposure and led me to my MBA courses and research; well, I can say I am a guru now because the least amount I collect for developing a customized business case report is 120K Naira which excludes research and miscellaneous cost.

Well, in order to save forward thinking individuals who know that business venture is a likely future endeavor, those who are doing business now and those who may need to collect facility from the bank, the huge cost of paying consultants for developing business plan, I am organizing a 2-day BUSINESS PLAN WORKSHOP in line with our mission to empower Nigerians financially:

I remember the words of a lady friend that dispel my cold feet towards my wedding; «A good wife is a life time asset». Well, she was a trained accountant, so using such parlance to describe her opinion on the issue of marriage did not seem offensive to the other ladies who were gathered with us.

After some years of marriage and thinking through her statement, I seem to disagree with her choice of words: A good wife can also be a life time liability if (a big IF) not treated right. The reality is that there is no absolute label for asset or liability since a condition is introduced. If what you regard as an asset is not treated right, it deteriorates and becomes a liability. Recall; an asset increases your value while a liability depreciates it.

So when I decided to get a second wife like the picture by your immediate top-left, I knew it could either be an asset or a liability despite the fact that it makes my heart dey Yori Yori. An average Nigerian executive is instinctively passionate about his second wife or second husband as the case may be. They wash it almost every day; take it for steaming once a month; service it every 6 weeks; do its alignment after replacing its shock absorber; visit the mechanic/panel beater/rewire for one issue or the other; etc.

Unfortunately, most Nigerians do not bother about the interior of their second wife since this is where the greatest liability can stem up. I am sure it's not a secret that most Nigerians marry the divorced second wives of the Americans and the Europeans. The issue here is neither the purchase nor the almost brand new exterior of the car but the inability to understand the potential danger posed by the interior of the car.

The interior of the car especially the chairs and the rugs/carpets if not cleaned properly accumulates dust, fleas, ticks, etc which are quite invincible to the human eyes. These agents cause some diseases whose symptoms may not appear till old age. Most Nigerians take care of this by simply dusting, brushing, washing the interior or for those who can afford it, they pressure wash the foot mats. All these activities are NOT effective in removing these agents.

The most effective way of cleaning the interior of a car is to vacuum clean it hence the need for a car vacuum cleaner like the one in the picture by your immediate top-left. The vacuum cleaner makes use of suction technology which reduces the pressure inside the vacuum cleaner forcing outside pressure to compensate the vacuum created inside the pressure. This forces the entire microscopic agents (dust, tick, fleas, etc) inside the vacuum cleaner.

The last statement I made is based on the «power» of the vacuum cleaner used but it has been scientifically proven that vacuum cleaners remove 95-100% of microscopic agents. The great news is that I just received a shipment of high-powered portable car vacuum cleaner in my warehouse last week and like most of you know, my merchandize finishes quickly. I am offering you this light weight vacuum cleaner at an affordable price (you would definitely smile when you hear the price). Click HERE to book for it. See picture below:

THIS IS STRICTLY FOR INTRAPRENRURS

Intrapreneur is a word coined from entrepreneur; it simply means those that are gainfully employed yet find ways to seek business opportunity. This is aligned with POeT Solver's mission of empowering Nigerians financially. Take a look at your office car park and estimate the amount of cars available there. The car vacuum cleaner is «win» product for you and a great product to simulate your business instinct and ideas. These are other perks you stand to gain:

You will be given up to 50% off the marked price hence you have enough to distribute profits amongst your fellow intrapreneurs.

The highest selling intrapreneur @ the end of product sales would be going home with a prize of our exclusive designed keke POeT valued @ 300K Naira, You can sell it or send it someone in your village that needs it or you can put it up for hired purchase. Personally, I make 66.7 percent returns per annum on keke POeT hired purchase. It's great to see another human smile because of you. You can watch the video below to truly see the value of what you might be winning.

Shock actually begets me when I reviewed the data from a Microfinance research on business outfits with the highest weekly turnover in my area (which I can regard as a suburb). I could see the relevant of this type of research to a Microfinance bank whose sole interest is in preventing bad loans but for someone like me; my primary focus is in the right business to invest in. the data was actually revealing with Church ranked as number one business outfit with the highest weekly turnover and Baba Ijebu was ranked number 2.

My assumptions of peoples’ need prior to reading this research was very wrong; I realize that it is these assumptions that have made me loses in some of my business undertakings. This revelation further confirmed to me that no matter how juicy a business deal may sound or appear, research is very important; no assumptions, no emotions, just plain fact! I assumed the highest ranked would revolve around the basic needs of a Nigerian like food, shelter, clothing, communication, transportation and education. Wow! I was even more shocked when I saw the 3rd ranked ‫ Beer parlor/prostitute joint (well, that’s the way they placed it).

Ok, let’s forget about this data for a while and concentrate on my topic today ‫ Baba Ijebu. For most of you who do not have the faintest idea of what Baba Ijebu is, let me attempt to define it as “lay manish’ as possible, Baba Ijebu is a local lotto outfit where you can play with as little as ten naira and win from thousands to millions. Their offices are characterized with small kiosk and a red machine based on smart card technology for placing your number. Why is this local lotto business doing well when a large lotto business like the Lagos Lotto floated by the Ibru family failed? (A food for thought!).

My main concern is not actually with the business but the consumers that make the business exist in the first place. Why do people patronize this stuff a lot? I quizzed some mechanics and petit traders, who are obviously fans of Baba Ijebu and their answers were similar and boils down to the fact that they can reap a lot without going through the process of building anything. This is thus the psychology of an average Nigeria and it is safe to say the Baba Ijebu exist in human nature. Why build when you can circumvent the process and any platform that can help you circumvent the process is a winning formula.

As I thought hard and long about the two speaking engagements I was invited to this coming weekend (one in Lagos and the other in Enugu), I realize the importance of shaping the minds of youths. I realize that if we can shape people’s expectations, then it would be easy to transit the challenges of building. Building (whether relationships, business, career, family, etc) is regarded as a hard, painful (removing you from your comfort zone) and a long process so many people try as much as possible to avoid it. Anything good that is accompanied by joy and fulfillment follows the following five stages:

The Inspiration Stage:

This is the phase that you get inspired to pursue a dream; indecision becomes your best pal; should I ask her out? Is it the right time to start the business? My heart leans towards this course but I have hardly seen any successful person that followed this path. We are mostly held back because the dream seems far ahead but just when we are about to give up, miraculously we start getting confirmation from various sources. This particular stage is very important because voices are quite deceptive; you cannot tell which one is from within or which one you picked from your physical environment. This stage acts as the foundation of any building so it is important not to jump the gun. Spend time with God and you will get a confirmation that would drain all doubts.

The Honeymoon Stage

This is the stage when you finally take the plunge and you are finally excited about your decisions. You will be wondering why you spent so much time in the Inspiration Stage. For a young believer, this is when everything he petitions for works our favorably; for lady that just got married, her husband is the best thing that has ever happened to her since slice bread. This stage can last from one month to as long as five years. Everything is exciting, everything is new, and you’re running on adrenalin. You infatuate over the idea of your new venture; if it’s business, you will be dreaming of the mountains of wealth you are going to create with it.

The Reality Stage

In this stage, you realize things are not as rosy as you envisioned; panic sets in ‫ the business isn’t making nearly as much money as you thought it would. In fact, it’s either losing money big time or barely breaking even. As if for the first time, you noticed the flaws of your spouse and these flaws are affecting you big time. From the point where you stood, everything looks grim and there seem to be no hope in sight. For employees who gave up their jobs to start business; they start freaking out and contemplating going back to beg for their old job back. This phase is where most people give up and quit; this is where the men are separated from the boys. This is where intimacy is lost in a marriage for most Nigerians but for guys in the developed countries, divorce is imminent.

The Judgment Stage

If you are persistent enough to get to this stage, the question that would continue to arise from your heart is “is it worth it?” The business is starting to take off, but unlike you fantasized during the honeymoon phase the business isn’t as easy to run as you thought. You get constantly challenged, and they start to weight your options. You would realize the enormous responsible of being in a relationship and the question keeps haunting you “is it worth it?” And after a while, the question stops then acceptance. The acceptance that the fantasy you once envisioned during the honeymoon stage didn’t come to fruition, but after all the hardships and all the hard work you realizes that it has been worth it. Every moment has been worth it. You would naturally move to the next stage.

The Comprehension Stage

You now have a good understanding of what it means to be free because you would emerge to a new playing field. If you are in business, you would start to make more profit in a week than most people make in a year. If it is a marriage relationship, you would understand the importance of a spouse and how you can leverage to create the happiness you deserve. You would be on autopilot and you would be on the “escape velocity” frame. You would boldly tell guys to join you on this exciting path (well, you did not think it was exciting in the Reality Stage). You would easily forget what you went through to get to where you are and you would have the Midas touch in this particular field.

I realized that I have stopped at the Reality Stage for some projects in my life and the successes I have in life is when I transit the Reality Stage. Transiting this stage does not mean doing nothing and expecting to jump to the Judging stage; it requires giving the same thing another shut with an innovative perspective. Most people are deceived by marriage; because people are living together does not mean they are fulfilling the marriage requirement; the marriage may have ended and they are living together due to either children or social pressure. The reality stage is what most guys cannot just get through; they quit and look for another project to keep them from facing the reality and when this other project reaches the reality stage, they also quit. The pattern becomes so eminent that Baba IJEBU seems like the way out. Which particular stage are you?

Wow! Humans can decide to be frigging wicked whenever they have the power to. Well, no need to dwell on the negative; I would just have to rebuild my site again. My week off was spent watching all kinds of serial program from The Complete Apprentice Season 8 to the Complete 7th Season of 24 down to the complete Season 4 of Prison Break with the final “not-yet released” Final Break (to be released July 21st) which happens to be the last chapter of the Prison Break except they bring Michael Scofield back from the dead.

There are many life lessons I picked up from this final episode tagged “Final Break” that I would love to share with you. These lessons are very instructive to my cause on financial freedom: You may listen to my previous podcast on Prison Break by clicking HERE

1. Sarah Tancredi was thrown to jail; it’s amusing the way they contrasted the difference between prison and jail; jail is a temporary restrain until you are convicted while prison is where you go when you are convicted. Challenges would never go away. I realized that all challenges have similar pattern despite different circumstances and level of exposure. The more challenges you solve, you would be able to draw the same pattern after a while. If you can solve the relationship challenges between you and your wife; it would be easier to solve the challenges between you and your boss though they may pose differently, they have the same underlying challenge ‫ relationship. So stop running away from challenges, you need to face it head on so you can easily solve challenges. If you do not solve the challenges you face now, they would come back and haunt you in a different form.

2. Michael was reputed for breaking out of prison ‫this was a plus rather than a minus because they believe he can do it, he actually did it. This is very vital in your path towards financial freedom. You build authority by solving challenges along the way. This authority would let you have it easy as you try to solve other issues. Due to the authority that Michael had of breaking prison, the prison wardens and the FBI were very apprehensive and hence paranoid about Michael breaking his wife out of prison. This apprehension was actually what made it easy for Michael to break the prison. Whatever you do in life, build momentum towards your goal; try to have as little success as you can which would give you more confidence to pursue your goal.

3. Mahone had the choice of getting his career back by betraying his friends but chose freedom. Freedom from the hatred, anger and betrayal of a friend. When Cane killed Abel, it was not just because he was jealous because he wanted to be the first at the detriment of his brother. Never undermine your friends for success because that success would never last. The principle of getting ahead by undermining your fellow brother is a common practice in our lives. I realize that it is sweeter when all your friends are financially free than to have only you financially free in the midst of them. When public funds are stolen by politicians, it the people that suffer. When corruption is permitted by weak judicial systems, it comes to haunt us in the form of armed robbery and other vices which hinders foreign direct investment that may alleviate poverty in our nation.

4. T-bag was very instrumental to the escape plan: He thought he was “ratting” them out of the escape plan but he did not know that his action was the very route to their escape. If Satan had known, he would not have killed Jesus Christ. It’s very useless to quarrel with people no matter what they have done to you because you would eventually need them even when they seem to be hurting you. Whenever, I request a favor and I am turned down, I am always very happy (well, I don’t show it to the person) because every “NO” means there is a potential “YES” somewhere else even better than the one I seek for. What you need is to see the big picture and you would see how the person characteristics fit to your overall plan.

5. Eventually, Michael had to sacrifice his life to save his wife and unborn baby. Now this is one of the most crucial lessons of them all. There is really nothing in this world that you cannot achieve or get, it just involves sacrifice. What do you want? What are you willing to sacrifice to get it? This is the bottom line of every true achievement. Okay, so many people want freedom but not so many people want to pay for it. Stop crying or worrying you need to do what is necessary to get it. It may involve working for FREE, paying for that training, working and allowing your boss get the glory, training 10 hours every day, etc. There is really nothing you cannot get in this world if you believe; that believe is solidified in your actions.

As we all seek to break out of our proverbial prisons, I hope these 5 life lessons I learnt from the Final Break would be useful to you. Have a fun filled week!
