Bagging an MBA is one of the greatest investment moves for an executive; the executive is actually taking a step to corporate emancipation and mobility. An MBA actually certifies your ability to effectively manage your company’s resources and take your company to greater heights. This is why MBAs are earnestly sought after in most companies especially in the West and the Middle East. MBA also makes it easy for you to relocate to countries that accept High Skilled Migrant workers like UK and Canada. In the UK migrant program, an MBA gives you the highest point of relocating.
Â
For entrepreneurs, I would definitely recommend an MBA because this gives you a strong theoretical framework and improves your business language. You would be able to connect whatever you are doing to the course outline of the MBA program. If you take the courses seriously, you would be able to grow your business in an exponential form. It is also very helpful in securing contracts especially open bids. While doing my MBA program as an entrepreneur, I was able to easily detect tactical errors I was making in my businesses; all in all, MBA was a plus to me.
Â
Â
The week after I finished my MBA program with a distinction, my wife did something that actually opened my eyes to the power of having an MBA; she included MBA to my old CV and sent it to one of the telecoms companies in Nigeria and I was called for an interview a week after. I actually did not attend the interview but I was glad to know that I could easily pick up a job if I wanted to. So I started sowing my CVs in most of the Middle East recruitment agency for contract work and I was amazed at how quickly I was contacted; I got two offers from Saudi Arabia and one from Oman but they wanted 2 years renewable contract while I only needed 3 month. Discussions are still on the way.Â
Â
Â
MBA is a professional course which means you cannot build on it with M.phil or PHD; it is one of the most expensive formal education programs on earth. An MBA from Harvard, Stanford, LBS, etc is about seventy thousand USD per annum tuition fee; this is just tuition – what of books, accommodation, feeding and miscellaneous? The funny part about these schools is that they do not guarantee a very high paying job because most of the graduates stick to working in US or UK. The offer I got from the company in Jeddah is far higher than the average salary of an average Stanford MBA graduate and I finished my MBA totally tuition-free.
Â
Let’s be frank, it’s all about the money at the end of the day and MBA is MBA. But in coming to a country like Nigeria, the perspective is quite different; a foreign MBA commands more respect and thus more money than an MBA from a Nigerian University. It’s funny that even the Nigerian universities when recruiting discriminate against their own degree when compared to a degree from Europe. It’s good to know that I am wanted but it’s better to bring more people to my status. It is in this light that I am organizing a seminar on the STRATEGY OF GETTING AN MBA SCHOLARSHIP IN SWEDEN.
Â
Â
I have been propositioned by 6 people so far on how I got my MBA tuition free and the 6 of them are currently doing their MBA programs. So it is safe to say that I have a 100% record and I do not want to go below my record. Another huddle is that you may get into the program and not be able to get the VISA. This is a tricky one and you truly require the guidance of an experienced hand to get you through. I am offering 20 willing participants the strategy of obtaining their MBA from Sweden tuition free. You can choose to do it full time, part time or distant learning; it’s your choice!

I stand corrected. The listed MBA schools are not cheap, ie IMD, LSBE, HAVARD, MIT, Columbia, Stanford etc. Any insight on how to get money for these schools?
April 6, 2009 at 11:15 am (UTC 1)
Many thanks Dipo for this info. I know posterity will never forget your labour of love.
April 6, 2009 at 4:21 am (UTC 1)
@ Derrick Klomsy
Thank you for bringing that up.
You are correct on some levels but also wrong.
You are correct with the 35 points for Masters and 50 point for PHD but you are wrong because the highest point is for MBA provision.
MBA from some certain listed schools like IMD in Switzerland gets 75 points which is the highest point.
I did not know about the DBA. Thanx for the info though…
April 5, 2009 at 8:53 pm (UTC 1)
You are right that an MBA is a good investment and I applaud your efforts to bring information the general public. However I take issues with your comment about the MBA giving individuals the highest point for the UK migrant programme, the PhD actually does give a larger point allocation I believe 50 to 35 for the MBA. Secondly it is possible to build upon the MBA by attaining a DBA (doctor of business administration). However, the MBA is more than sufficient.
Continue doing a good job and I wish you the very best.

Dipo,
You certainly know what you want from life and you are focused on it. Kudos. You certainly need to add topics like that to your speaking engagements.
I am both employed and an employer. I would appreciate the Swedish MBA to enhance myself but only on a distance education level. I have 11years working experience and my mini fastfoods company is a 12MN company. I would like to stick around and grow it ‘cos I am retiring from payed employment in the next 3 years.
warmest regards,
Dele

Thank you for the information.
April 3, 2009 at 12:53 pm (UTC 1)
nice one!thanks for the info!
April 3, 2009 at 11:58 am (UTC 1)
Hi Dipo,
Thank you for this wonderful information. I really need an MBA to take my career to the next level. Just that the only hinderance has been money. Although I work for a reputable organization but the pay level is really so low. Imagine where I am paid below N90k per month for someone with 6 years of experience and with a bachelors degree in petroleum engineering and masters in energy and petroleum economics.
Thank you once again, and please help me to realise this vision.
Kevin
