1st Quarter Musing
Average time to read3:37 minutes aprox.
Okay, the first quarter of the year has ended and it is good to do a general appraisal of one’s activities and project for the next quarter. This first quarter has been very enlightening to me; the rise of dollars to the naira and the container blockage at the port hindered me from importation but I was able to dig within myself to engage in other forms of commercial activities. I have been teased many times for dipping my hands into so many businesses and I could understand how this perception may come about.
Â
Â
So, let me attempt to correct this mistake; I am a professional blogger, a social entrepreneur and a business consultant. These three sides of my professional life are themed into empowering Nigerians financially. As a professional blogger, I go into Joint Venture (JV) with so many guys that are interested in sinking their products; we go into various deals and I make sure the readers of this blog get a discount from the market value of whatever I offer. I make sure I spend time in validating the authenticity of the products before I offer them to my readers. This is a win-win situation.
Â
Â
The business model is just like a TV station that generates money through ads. This works quite well with me; all the people I enter JV with smile to the bank and my readers get a sizeable discount on goods sold. 286 plots of land have already been sold in the SET GARDEN estate and a sizeable amount was bought by readers on this blog. The Realtors of the land gave me a huge discount; land that was valued at 900K was given to me at 410K Naira. Those that knew the value rushed it at the price but the land has however increased to 510K after my initial deadline. The Realtors have given me till 3rd of April for the 510K offer because they plan to further increase the price after this date; if you are interested in getting it at 510K, click HERE.
Â
Â
As a social entrepreneur, I import social-conscious goods like tricycles, motorcycle parts, helmets, etc that empower below-average Nigerians financially. I enter partnership with some companies in India and China in order to make this work effectively. At the beginning of this year, I sold Helmets and I sold it all off; this blog played a huge part in getting it done. I was able to sell it at a lower percentage for my readers than other channels. 3 weeks ago, I got another consignment of helmets and it remains just 400 pieces; for the entrepreneurs (mostly out of Lagos) who want to make quick bucks from selling helmets, can contact me by clicking HERE.
Â
Â
As a business consultant, I do some marketing consulting for some up and coming companies in Nigeria; I hope to do more on this but more jobs are coming from out of Nigeria. This quarter, I also met with some of my readers personally and gave them information on “Importation from Vietnamâ€. I actually enjoyed this meeting very well and I sold e-books to those who could not attend; this e-book was written by the Vietnam Czar; it costs 6K ‫ if you are interested, please, click HERE to download the NDA and send the scanned signed copy to dipotepede [at] poetsolvers.com.
Â
Â
I also launched my podcast this quarter, if you have not seen it, click HERE. I am not yet a pro at speaking to a mike without the presence of a crowd but I am sure I am able to pass across the message. I also did some speaking engagements this quarter which were quite memorable. I am also accepting bookings to speak; please, kindly click HERE to get an overview of the kinds of speaking engagements I accept.
Â
Â
This quarter, the dollar kept rising and rising but I was able to proffer two solutions to hedge this economic killer; earn money in dollars and convert your money to universally acceptable assets. To earn your money in dollars in a weekly basis, I introduced those who had $250 capital and were interested into this program. I am also going to introduce 10 guys who are very ambitious and smart the secret of trading in bullion gold in the London Open Market. I am very sorry; I may not be able to produce any e-book for those who miss this opportunity.
Â
Â
This quarter, I was able to interview only Marwa Rakha ‫ the relationship expert. I hope to do more interview in the next quarter. In the next quarter, there would also be more mouth watering deals and I am also hinted of the possibility of some land deals in Agbara. I may also do some more roundtable seminars if I am still in the country. There would also be more “thought-provoking†articles and podcasts. Please, always remember to pop in.
Â
Â
I want to use this opportunity to appreciate my readers who have been there with me all this while. I also would need your FEEDBACK on this site; just tell me what you think about the site ‫ either good or bad OR both. The person with the most heartfelt critique or praise would receive a surprise present from me; you would truly appreciate this present. Please, kindly use the comment box to air your opinions. Thank you very much for reading through; may God grant you all you wish for in Jesus name; Amen!

Hmm!
Since 2006 i was introduced to this site, its been wao!
I would say it was the first blog i ever knew and visited. it was from here i stumbled on Adeolu's and i have been addicted to both ever since.
I owe mine blog first and formost to this site even though you didn't continue the series on blogging that inspired me to start up mine..... it was like a mother who abandoned her baby after birth to fend for itself...lol I still look forward to ur first comment...lol
There are other series as well u discontinued just like that. E.g Biography. The firts post on warren buffet was really tot-provoking.
PLEASE always try to keep your promise in this regard though i now know how hectic it could be with my little experience as a baby blogger.
In terms of content, they are very inspirational, practical and down to earth. some of which were very prophetic in thier timing. some of your expositions on the scriptures are simply mind-blowing.
The business opportunities are second to none. So sad am yet to avail myself of any of them.
There is something u were not doing last year which i think u are now doing. Before now u don't respond to comments (including criticisms). Adeolu is a master at this and most times i learn from his response more than the post because they deal with some real life issues and questions.
In terms of aesthetic and lay out, more stil has to be done.
the characters are monotonous and hard and the colour, dull.
will it be possible to lay out the comments such that they appear in thier proper sequence of posting? i.e first comments first so that when one responds to a comment or updates a previous comment, visitors can easily follow the sequence. it makes for proper reading and follow-up. hope u got me on that?
Dont' rest on your oars and the sky will be your spring board.
P.S. When i read a line in a recent post that you need to pick up your range rover sport this year, i shouted! God indeed has been very faithful.
@ Emmy!
Whats up? I feel you brother! Guess u are now serving.
Luv u all!

Wow! great comments guys.
The way the comments are going, I am tempted to increase the present to two; well let's see.
I forgot to talk about the Oil Deal: The Northern Sink; we were able to get 5 interested investors ready to drop 2 million Naira each but the Oil company sourced their funds from elsewhere so the deal did not take place. Can't win them all.
Thank you once more............

Brother Dipo, I would say Nospecto issue brought me to your Blog but I noticed that after every visit to your site i always see a new business opportunity, like the Business opportunity in Vietnam, the inverter, the Bullion gold business and so many more.
I know within me that we are gonna sit down someday , talk about business and possibly do a lot of businesses together. Just keep on going on with what you are doing and I see you become Pat Utomi in the next 2 to 3 years.
You are blessed.

@ dipo
great blog i must say.learnt a whole lot here.very thought provoking.your ability to do a whole lot of stuff and still pull though just fine is amazing.the content is great.the layout isnt so colorful like the other blogs i see.it is easy to navigate but drab in terms of colour.for info such as seminars and stuff,i think you should post that say 2 weeks before time so that someone like me can prepare for it financially though i know your system of taking just a few number of people is good as that reduces logistics problem for you.i'm sure i'm speaking for quite a number of people who would love to attend such but the info came just too soon.
and bring on the relationship,i'm kinda interested!
its quarter for you i must say is GREAT!for me,it was just about laying up the stones coz this next quarter,i'm about to step on them and take a leap into......another level of glory!
thanks.

..not even the titanic is priced enough to measure the pool of wisdom transcended on my 'used to be ignorant entrepreneurial self'(That's if it never sunk, anyway!)-You make light so abundant even when it appeared dark and swarthy ; The mechanics of your write-ups are straight and easy to understand, that i only need read once to swallow hook ,line, fisherman and boat'- I'm usually persuaded by the strategies in which you carry your readers along, most of your business tactics are usually as easy as seen from on-screen...
Dipo, we'ld really appreciate if you could come up with investment that are a bit less on the high side...(sometyms man go feel lyk invest bt the pepper no too ground reach wetin u set as threshold'- Please look into that,'Everyone needs empowerment from the grass-root'
I should be sure that's what u'ld lyk to see in years to come...
Lots of LOVE....and em....
Thanks to your wife-After God, your INSPIRATION!

I must say that truly,...'He that is an expert in his craft will not dine with mere men, but shall talk over lunch, rub shoulders with Kings of this world'...
Keep up the good work inspired by the Master.
Have a fruitful and rewarding second quarter.

Hello,
This blog has inspired me in more ways than i can mention. I am able to offer advice to others gained from wisdom gotten here many times. I thank God for your life.
My only challenge has been the fact that i have not gotten a response to my complaint about my electromate and this makes me unhappy.
